Why join NCWTA?
NCWTA Seahawk Chapter is partnered with the NCWTA professional organization, designed to promote UNCW business students doing business in international trade by providing networking and educational opportunities. Our members include students who plan on doing business in all facets of international trade including finance, public relations, government, freight forwarding, international law, agriculture, sales and marketing, import/export, logistics, and transportation.
Cameron School of Business students join NCWTA to enhance their professional skills, gain international trade information, establish global business contacts in the private and public sectors and to help the organization achieve their goals as defined in its mission statement below:
- To enhance the status and interests of business students in the field of international trade through the establishment of a worldwide network of international business contacts.
- To encourage and stimulate the exchange of views, ideas, and information concerning foreign commerce and international relations.
- To establish educational programs, conferences, and other activities to promote the employment worldwide of students in international business.
- To promote professional growth, mentoring, education and leadership among business students with employees worldwide in business and commerce in both the public and private sectors.
