Faculty Biographies
Dr. Randall Hanson(Chair)
Dr. Hanson has been a Professor of Law at CSB since 1990. Prior to joining the faculty, he has been a Professor at the University of North Dakota, Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX, and Bemidji State University in Minnesota. He has also served as General Partner at Hanson & Gustafson, Attorneys at Law. Mr. Hanson is certified to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota.
Joined UNCW faculty in August 1967. Retired July 1, 1999. Now Associate Professor Emeritus teaching part-time.
Larry Clark became Dean of the Cameron School of Business in 2000. Prior to UNCW, Clark was a dean at Sonoma State University (1994-2000) and at Louisiana State University - Shreveport (1985-1994). Dean Clark has been involved with AACSB - The International Association for Management and in community affairs and regional developement activities. Dean Clark is the lead author of Law and Business with McGraw-Hill. He has taught employment law, leadership and wine business strategies. He will teach a senior seminar course, Labor Relations Law, this fall.
Dr. Earney has been a Professor of Accountancy at CSB since 1982. He is also a partner at Earney & Company, LLP. Prior to joing the faculty, Dr. Earney was an Audit Manger at Arthur Anderson & Co. He has also served as an Instructor at the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. Dr. Earney is a CPA in Wisconsin and North Carolina.
Dr. Ivancevich joined the faculty of the Cameron School of Business in the fall of 2000. Prior to joining the faculty, he served on the accounting faculties at the University of Tampa and the University of Nevada, Las Vagas.
Dr. Ivancevich joined CSB in the fall of 2000. Prior to joining the faculty, she was a faculty member at the University of Tampa and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a CPA.
Mr. Jones has been a Lecturer at CSB since August of 1998. He is also Co-Director of the Cameron Executive Network. He has served as Director and on the Executive Committee and the Compensation and Governance Committee of The Nash Engineering Company. Previously, he was a partner at Shearman & Sterling in New York, NY. Mr. Jones was also an Instructor in Business Law at the University of Maryland in the Republic of Vietnam. Mr. Jones has been admitted as an attorney to the state bars of New York and North Carolina.
Prior to joining at CSB, Mr.Keaveney has served as a Partner, Manager, Staff Accountant at KPMG in New York. Mr. Keaveney is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Dr. Rockness has been the Cameron Professor of Accountancy at UNCW since 1993. Prior to joining the faculty, she was a Professor at NC State University and a Visiting Professor at UNC Chapel Hill. She is a CPA in North Carolina.
Mr. Roscher has been a Professor at CSB since 1982. Prior to joining the faculty, he worked at Ernst & Ernst, and taught at SUNY Fredonia. Mr. Roscher is a CPA in North Carolina.
Mrs. Sasser has been with UNCW for 29 years. She recently moved to CSB from Student Affairs.
Presently, Ms. Sawyer is a consultant in Systems and Tax. Prior to joining the faculty, Ms. Sawyer was a Staff Accountant at Cherry, Bekaert, and Holland. She was also a Teaching Assistant at Duquesne University. Ms. Sawyer is a CPA.
