About Assurance of Learning (AOL)
Assurance of Learning at the Cameron School of Business means: "A clearly defined process to continually improve the learning outcomes of skills, knowledge, and perspective for all business students to better prepare them for the ever changing business world in which they will work."
The Cameron School of Business (CSB) places student learning at the forefront. The CSB mission statement clearly articulates, "Through excellence in teaching, scholarship and service, the Cameron School of Business provides students with the skills and knowledge to think critically and act responsibly in meeting global business challenges."
Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the CSB has attuned its Assurance of Learning (AOL) focus to the AACSB standards. Beyond continuous improvement and reaffirmation with AACSB, the CSB has a true dedication to improving the learning experience and educational acumen of all CSB students.
The CSB offers a B.S. in Business Administration, a B.A. in Economics, an MBA (two tracks; professional MBA and international MBA), an M.S. in Accountancy, and jointly offers with the College of Arts and Sciences, Computer Science Department, an M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems. The departments in the Cameron School of Business are Department of Accountancy and Business Law, Department of Economics and Finance, Department of Information Systems and Operations Management, Department of Management and Department of Marketing. In addition, the international business option runs across all departments.
