UNCW students will play a large role in this project. Students will be recruited based on an interest in this project’s purpose and earning money for their work (up to $12.50 an hour). Student workers will schedule a “recording” time with faculty and executives, record the actual podcast session using the digital voice recorder, edit the business audio file and make any corrections with the faculty/executive narrator before finalizing and testing the podcast with the project director. Students will also transcribe the podcast they recorded into Microsoft Word and convert it to a PDF file. It is estimated that completing one business podcast including the dictation portion will take a student on average two hours.
