The annual UNCW Economic Outlook Conference (EOC) is our region's premier forum for economic activity and forecasts. Last year's focus was onBiotechnology in southeastern North Carolina. A panel discussion along with keynote speaker Deborah Mosca, Ph.D., CEO, Marine Biotechnologies Center of Innovation, shared how this industry can impact our region through jobs, sales, real estate and more.
As always, a real estate panel provided regional information and Drs. Woody Hall and Tom Simpson gave their local and national economic forecasts.
Continental breakfast starts at 7:30am in the Burney Center. Program will run 8am-noon. Registration required.
For 2012, a special tour will follow at the Center for Marine Sciences (transportation not provided).
