History:

Dr. Carter has been a faculty member and administrator at UNCW since 1978. Prior to that he taught at Texas A&M system’s Prairie View A&M University, was a full time consultant for A. L. Fletcher and Associates, an accountant with multi-national corporation Grace Kennedy, Inc., and was an economist in the Office of the Prime Minister, Jamaica.
