The Links Page of

Pamela S. Evers, MBA, JD, LLM, blah blah blah

Legal Issues

Findlaw.com -- excellent website for finding court cases, legal forms, attorneys, basic legal information, and further links.  Messy site with distracting advertising, but information everywhere.

U.S. Supreme Court -- THE site for the decisions by The Supremes with cases, history, docket, etc.   Well-organized and user-friendly site.

The Texas State Bar -- website for attorneys of the Great Nation of Tejas.

North Carolina Secretary of State Business Page -- portal for anyone interested in organizing a company in North Carolina.

Association of Trial Lawyers of America -- website for plaintiffs attorneys; read the information and learn why "tort reform" is based on urban legends and ultimately injures the individual citizen and consumer

Science, Technology, and the Environment

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency -- THE site for finding out how your government is (or is not) protecting the environment as well as portal for information on environmental regulations, case law and settlements, environmental justice concerns, National Priority List sites (toxic sites), and other information that will make you worry about your health!

ISO 14000 Information Center -- the portal for information about the international environmental management system standards; well-designed and easy to use with many other interesting links.

NASA -- a very cool website with awe-inspiring astronomy shots and information on space exploration projects; very user-friendly, though you'd better have good video in your computer to take full advantage.

Science Channel -- If you get bored on this site, you're asleep (or maybe you're not a nerd like me).  Lots of links to other sci-tech info, too.

The Film & Entertainment Industry

The Hollywood Reporter  -- This is one of the 2 primary mags.  Find out who works where, what films are in development or production, what the box office looks like.  Unfortunately, to take full advantage you have to subscribe at an outrageous price, but -- hey -- it's showbiz.

Variety  -- This is the other primary mag -- a veritable who's who in the biz.  Again, like HR, danged expensive to subscribe, but then again old data is better than nothing.

Entertainment Attorney Mark Litwak  -- Great website with a lot of free info by a top-gun entertainment lawyer and author of many fine entertainment law books.
