Center For Commercialization of Advanced Technology
The Center for Commercialization of Advanced Technology (CCAT) is a public-private collaborative
partnership of academia, industry, and government. It is a DoD (SPAWAR) sponsored program created to "bridge"
the gap between technological advances in the laboratory and end-user applications
in the Department of Defense and the commercial marketplace. Dr. Galbraith is a CCAT project manager/consultant
with a specialization in
Biotechnology start-up firms, and technology transfer for purposes
of bio-warfare defense.

Typically ranked in top 10 nationally in various graduate management programs.
Ranked 4th in nation in job placement of graduates. Dr. Galbraith received his Ph.D. from Purdue
University and was a professor of entrepreneurship and international strategy before coming to UNCW.
He continues to occasionally teach in Purdue's executive management program
