Brief Bio:
Dr. Magnus teaches in the human
resource management area. Prior to coming to UNCW, she worked as a Human
Resource Manager for a national consulting firm and as an HR Consultant. Dr.
Magnus is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Her research interests include team cognition & information sharing,
work/family conflict, whistleblower retaliation, counterproductive work
behaviors, and organizational training. Her work has been published in a
variety of academic outlets, including Journal
of Applied Psychology, Human
Performance, Group Dynamics: Theory, Research and Practice, Journal of
Vocational Behavior, and Journal of
Business Ethics. Dr. Magnus is a regular ad hoc reviewer for Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of
Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Academy of Management Journal, and Journal of Business Ethics.
