Coaches Clinics Available during Senior Athletes Camps!


Hello Coaches and welcome to this new and exciting camp for coaches. This special feature of On Your Marks Track Camp will allow you to learn from some of the best coaches across the country. You will be an apprentice for one week and shadow one or several of the coaches in our camp. This camp is designed for coaches who are at the high school or club level. Some of the information may also be suitable to the junior high level.

As apprentices we are expecting you to be part of all the camp events during the week. You are here to learn and gain knowledge for your own personal growth, while working with our staff. Therefore consistency is very important. The OYM coaching staff has the sole responsible in delivering all feedback to the athletes.

In addition to the daily schedule we will offer session specific to coaches only, which will cover topics such as:

  • Physical coaching skills 

  • Training methods
  • Psychology of the athlete
  • Team building activities

As apprentice you will have the opportunity to practice some of your coaching skills in the sessions of the camp. You are responsible for your own note taking and we will provide you with opportunity to do so. You will also have the chance to informally talk with all the staff members at the camp and use them as your personal resource. As you know, talking to somebody and using their experience and knowledge base is a much better method rather then trying to find or read information in a book or manual.

You will have the opportunity to gain technical knowledge like nowhere else. Most of the coaches, who you will be working with, have international caliber playing experience. They will offer a tremendous knowledge base and are willing to share some of the secrets and tricks of the trade with you.

    Junior athletes camp;
        ages 9-13
