SBTDC provides counseling for existing businesses in the following areas.

SBTDC counselors have experience with a wide range of businesses and serve as an unbiased resource to help guide businesses as they grow. Our counselors have advanced business planning tools and resources that will aid you in making the proper decisions as your business grows.

All counseling services for at SBTDC are free-of-charge and completely confidential. We also occasionally offer advanced facilitation of retreats and large scale events for businesses at below market rates.

SBTDC offers a range of services and programs that help established businesses and can provide assistance preparing business plans for acquiring loans, developing marketing plans, solving human resources issues and researching new product development.

In addition to offering one-on-one counseling with SBTDC staff, SBTDC work with the University of North Carolina at Wilmington Cameron School of Business MBA program to partner businesses with a team of MBA students and a SBTDC counselor for a 15 month program called Learning Alliance. The alliance pairs regional businesses with teams of MBA students who provide comprehensive analysis of the companies’ business processes and competitive environments, as well as strategic recommendations for growth and profit.
