Directions to the SBTDC Office


5051 New Centre Drive, Wilmington, NC

From the South on South College Road:

Traveling North on South College Road (aka Interstate 40), you will pass the University of North Carolina at Wilmington on your right. This is a four-lane highway, and you will need to be in the left through-lane. As soon as you begin to pass the UNCW campus, you will travel through the following traffic lights:

  • Hurst Drive, UNCW will be on your right.
  • University Drive, UNCW will be on your right.
  • Randall Parkway, UNCW will be on your right. Continue north on South College Road / I-40.
  • No Street Marker, but University Commons will be on your right and Lowe’s Shopping Center on your left.
    After passing through this light, enter the left-turn lane.

    Turn left at the next traffic light, which is:
  • New Centre Drive – Starbucks Coffee and Cruisers Car Wash will be on your right; Exxon Gas Station and Checkers Fast Food Restaurant will be on your left.

After making the left-hand turn onto New Center Drive, stay in the right-hand lane and travel approximately 3/10 of a mile. You will pass Bob King Autohaus on your right.

Immediately past the first traffic light on New Centre Drive, on your right you will see a two-story white office building with the gold UNCW logo on the side of the building that faces New Centre Drive. SBTDC is located in this building, 5051 New Centre Drive. Free Visitor Parking is located behind the building.
(Note: Boseman's Sporting Goods is across the street from 5051 New Centre Drive.)

From the North on Interstate 40:

Traveling South on Interstate 40, you will cross over Market Street / Highway 17. As soon as you do, Interstate 40 becomes known as South College Road. Enter the right-hand lane. After the overpass, the second traffic light will be New Centre Drive - Exxon Gas Station will be on your right; Cruisers Car Wash will be on your left. Turn right onto New Centre Drive.

After making the right-hand turn onto New Center Drive, stay in the right-hand lane and travel approximately 3/10 of a mile. You will pass Bob King Autohaus on your right.

From the South on Market Street / Highway 17:

Traveling North on Market Street / Highway 17, you will make a right turn onto New Centre Drive. Hooters Restaurant will be on your right and Target Shopping Center on your left.

Once on New Centre Drive, stay in the left through-lane. You will travel approximately 4/10 of a mile on New Centre Drive. Go through the first traffic light and just before you reach the second traffic light on New Centre Drive, on your left you will see a two-story white office building with the gold UNCW logo on the side of the building that faces New Centre Drive. SBTDC is located in this building, 5051 New Centre Drive. Free Visitor Parking is located behind the building. (Note: Boseman's Sporting Goods is across the street from 5051 New Centre Drive.)

From the North on Market Street / Highway 17:

Traveling South on Market Street / Highway 17, you will pass under Interstate 40 / South College Road. You will make a left turn onto New Centre Drive. Hooters Restaurant will be on your left and Target Shopping Center on your right.

Once on New Centre Drive, stay in the left through-lane. You will travel approximately 4/10 of a mile on New Centre Drive. Go through the first traffic light and just before you reach the second traffic light on New Centre Drive, on your left you will see a two-story white office building with the gold UNCW logo on the side of the building that faces New Centre Drive.
